INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE COURSES

These very practical courses have been written especially for ‘new’ business people: men and women venturing into business on their own for the first time. Having studied this remarkable Course, they can start with every confidence, and knowledge essential for success!

They are also very valuable for those already running small businesses, which, perhaps, have not so far been as profitable as they hoped. They can learn why, and how to remedy the situation - to earn the profits they deserve!

The courses are written in clear and easy to understand English, with numerous illustrations and actual practical business examples. The Modules contain a great wealth of practical tips and hints from successful business owners and managers with vast experience of running profitable businesses, to help avoid the many pitfalls that harm new businesses.

The courses start from basics, explaining how ideas and dreams can be converted into the reality of being your “own boss”. It covers the registering and establishment of a business, the business plan, sources of finance, business location, premises, ordering goods and materials, selling, accounts, employing staff, documentation and much more.

 

ENGLISH AS INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE

We have courses at all levels commencing each week on a Monday for the different English options:

  • General English
    The General English course allows the student to achieve the best possible results in the Cambridge University, IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or TOEFL (American Testing of English as a Foreign Language) examinations. We also offer Pitman English exams.

    The General English course covers all four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing. This course develops the skills students need to make practical use of the language and thus are able to communicate effectively in English.

  • Business English

    We have two types of Business English courses:

    Business English for non-English speakers
    These courses are run on demand for non-English students and vary from one to a number of weeks in length. They introduce students to the business environment and the types of communication used within the business environment.

    Business writing, conversational and communication courses
    We have a range of Better English, Better Business (BEBB) courses available. These courses are run on demand for individuals or businesses. They are generally offered in a 1 to 3 day workshop format either on our premises or using the client's training facilities.

       

 

AWARD AND ACHIEVEMENT

 

On successfully completing one of our Career Development Programme you will:

 

· Have completed a professional Programme of Study with an Accredited British College.

· Be awarded a British Diploma/certificate

 

Certificate LEVEL      

 An accredited qualification beyond ‘A’ level - as is NVQ 2/3 - showing you possess competence in a wide range of work activities.

Diploma LEVEL  

An accredited qualification at Level 4, equated to the British National Framework at the same level as HND and National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4. 

 

Have achieved an accredited qualification suitable for managerial and supervisory levels.

· Have substantially improved your ability to gain an International Honours Diploma.
