The Groupe Scolaire Adja Mampo (GSM) is our secondary and high school programme based on the national curriculum

FRENCH SYSTEM

At the end of the secondary school there is an exam ( Le Brevet des Collèges ) called BEPC. From here, there are 2 possibilties: Academic (lycée) or professional (Ecole de formation) The " lycée " is similar to the British Grammar school or the US High school

We have the French educational system:

Nursery (not compulsory)

Then primary school (6 years)

Then, the " collège ", ie secondary school (4 years)

2^nde 1^ère Terminale

At the end of "Terminale", there is a compulsory exam (baccalauréat) to go to the university. Without the baccalauréat , there is no access to the university. However there are colleges (Ecole de formation) that train up to MBAs.
